Classroom Management Tools and Ideas

Presenter – Cindy Doder, Webster Groves MO School District

Positive Behavior Support systems have been implemented in many school districts. What tools can help support you in your PBS work or classroom management in general? Ideas may include classroom tracking tools, communication tools or team collaboration tools. If you are new to PBS come see how districts use tools to enforce positive behaviors. If you are part of a PBS initiative, bring your ideas and samples to share.

Take-away – Participants will gain ideas on using technology tools for implementing and managing Positive Behavior Support Programs.

Cindy Doder currently is the Data/Software Coordinator for Webster Groves School District. A certified eMINTS Instructional Specialists since 2004, Doder worked 7 years as the Technology Curriculum Coordinator, and before that as the High School Technology Coordinator and district SIS manager.

Positive Behavior Systems (PBS) comes to eMINTS Winter Conference with this engaging and informative presentation from Cindy Doder. Cindy does an excellent job of demonstrating how the PBS and eMINTS methods for addressing classroom management correlate. She makes the use of data and planning a course of action in creating the most effective learning environment possible. The focus is on meaningful management in our schools that promotes learning.

I was in this class on Friday. It was a great reinforcement of the PBS, and tier grouping that our school is doing right now.
